Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort was in a beautiful, scenic area about 17 miles from the Las Vegas strip. Across the lake from the resort was Celine Dion's house. Though a bit far away, we were able to get a picture.
Illness report: Mike's third day home sick. He made it to the doctor this morning. She tested for the flu (swab up the nose to which Mike reported it went deep enough to touch his brain), but the test came back negative. Ultimately, the diagnosis was respiratory infection. Thank goodness for a prescription of cough medicine with codeine so our household can get a good night's rest. Speaking of sleep, I'm off to catch some zzzzz's!
